Lisa has more than 13 years experience in the field of Communications. She is currently a Resume Consultant for ResuMAYDAY and a Freelance Writer and Project Manager. Prior to her current roles, Lisa was a Manager at Learning Insights, a company that specialized in online human resource and financial training. She also has several years experience in the Financial Services industry where she worked in marketing communications, internal communications, and public relations for companies such as GE Capital, Swiss Bank Corporation (now UBS) and The Weiser Group. Lisa earned a BA in Sociology from the University of Michigan.
Elsa has an MFA in English from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She worked as a graduate counselor for the University of Massachusetts Career Center and she has been a book editor for a major publisher as well as a technical writer with 10 years of experience, concentrating in the software industry.
Sarah holds a Master's Degree in the Humanities from the University of
Chicago and is currently a Resume Consultant for ResuMAYDAY in addition to
serving as adjunct faculty at Loyola University and Columbia College
Chicago. Her prior experience includes editing literary fiction and
narrative non-fiction at Scribner, part of Simon & Schuster, Inc., and
teaching English and American Literature at Proctor Academy. Sarah earned a
BA in English from Harvard University.
Anders has close to 20 years experience in executive recruiting, business consulting and communications. After obtaining a liberal arts BA, he worked in Europe advising business and academic professionals in getting their message across in English. Anders spent 7 years a t the Swedish Trade Council in Chicago consulting small Swedish businesses establishing themselves in the US market, as well as 2 years recruiting executives to US subsidiaries of European firms. In addition to consulting for ResuMAYDAY, Anders works in the software industry and enjoys helping his spouse Jody change diapers and raise sons Markus and Adam.
Michelle has spent 30 years in the field of Career Development and Business Operations. Prior experiences include recruiting and hiring for the Radisson Hotels, working as a Career Services Counselor for DuPage County Workforce Development, and running a High School Career Center and internship program. Her specialties include career assessment, interview techniques and resume writing. Michelle has also worked as a writer/editor for McDonald's Corporation, a free-lance writer for several Chicago suburban newspapers and a scriptwriter for the Wheaton School District. Michelle earned a BA in Communications from Loyola University in New Orleans, LA.
Helena is a technical writer specializing in the crafting of accounting and information technology policies and procedures to satisfy Sarbanes Oxley requirements. A veteran of the automotive, architectural, advertising industries, she has a breadth of business experience including; administration, project management, business management, accounting, and information technology. She holds a BA in Art from Wayne State University, Detroit and a Certificate in Business Administration from the Center for Entrepreneurship, University of Illinois Chicago.
